About

My name is Gary Gretarsson.

I am an Audio and Music Production Professional, an Artist Development Specialist, a Videographer, an Educator, a Composer, and a Multi-instrumental-Musician. Most importantly however, I am a music lover.

Music is the essence of my being; everything else stems from there.

I began studying music in elementary school, and my interest in various instruments and aspects of music increased rapidly, all the way up through high school. I began studying audio recording and production in the beginning of 2002, and I went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Audio Recording Technology from Five Towns College, in Dix Hills, NY early in 2006.

In March of 2017, I began a new position at the Recording Engineers Institute in Islandia, NY, a trade school for Audio Professionals, as an instructor of Advanced Audio. As a result, I discovered a new found passion for education, that I never knew I could have. Drawing on my many years of experience for this task, and bringing it to the fresh minds who wish to learn, has only shown me how much more I can learn, and has me constantly inspired in the process. As of the end of 2018, I have risen in this role, and taken on the task of instructing several additional classes now, including the Introductory class, and the Basic Audio class. I am now in the role of Head Instructor at this institution.

Please feel free to reach out and contact me for any reason at all. If there is something you would like my assistance on, I would be glad to discuss that with you. I pride myself on my creative approach to my work, and I truly enjoy working with those who can align, and relate with that.

Thank you so much for visiting my site, and I wish you the best.

Regards,
