Artist Development and Coaching

I pride myself on the somewhat unusual, or unorthodox approach I prefer to take when it comes to Artist Development. Most offerings will carry a big upfront price tag, and simply try to whip up a new “Brand” for you and send you on your way, with little to no guidance on where to go from there. Or even worse, It may include promises that were never meant to be kept, and you are left with empty pockets, and broken dreams. My service is VERY different.

My focus is on the music itself FIRST, and all other career aspects second. I believe this is important, because without a solid foundation, whatever you DO build, will not stand. If you expect to have a lasting career as a recording artist, you cannot operate under the assumption that all you need is a good demo/mixtape and a good brand. That is what I like to call, “The Flash In The Pan Method”.

I encourage artists to strive for independent success, on their own terms. The tools are all at your disposal. I can help you find them, and show you how to use them, but it is up to you to take advantage of them. LONG gone are the days of being discovered by a label at your third show, that will develop you and invest in you. It is up to YOU to build your career and your skill set, before any label (or anyone, really) will consider investing in you. That being said, it might be a good idea to work with someone who can help guide you and and empower you on that journey.

I look to create an ongoing relationship with you the artist, focusing first on the development of your recording, writing and performance skills, THEN on the work you need to do to create and grow your brand and your presence. That is why I prefer we meet once a week. It is not uncommon for an artist to continue working with me in the studio, on a weekly basis for long extended periods of time. Once we’re on a roll, why stop there? Now we can start creating some really cool stuff together, and push you to the next level in your journey.

What I offer goes way beyond music, as I seek to help YOU, make you, a better you. I strive to provide tremendous value to my clients, constantly adding to that which I offer them.
